The Online Lenders Alliance (OLA) is a U.S. trade association founded to represent companies that deliver consumer credit online. OLA promotes access to small‑dollar and other online credit products, develops and enforces industry best practices and an accreditation program, operates consumer education and complaint channels, monitors the internet for noncompliant actors, and serves as an industry resource for policymakers and the media.
Advocates on federal and state consumer finance and fintech policy, especially rules affecting small‑dollar and short‑term lending, licensing and preemption, bank third‑party relationships, CFPB rulemaking, payment and data/privacy issues, advertising and lead generation standards, and industry self‑regulation and consumer protection practices.
Primarily funded by member dues and fees, conference and event revenue (including LEND360), sponsorships, and accreditation/service fees.
Membership and partner network of online lenders, fintech firms, credit bureaus, payments and compliance vendors; operates the LEND360 industry conference; notable leaders have included former CEO Lisa McGreevy and Executive Director Andrew Duke.
