About the Organization

The Pennsylvania Bankers Association (PA Bankers) is the statewide trade association representing commercial and community banks operating in Pennsylvania. Founded in the late 19th century, it provides government relations and regulatory advocacy, industry education, professional services and member networking to support a competitive banking sector across the commonwealth.

Policy Goals

State and federal banking regulation and supervision, taxation and commercial law affecting financial institutions, consumer banking and payments policy, community and small-business lending, cybersecurity and fraud prevention, regulatory compliance burden reduction, workforce development and financial education

Funding

Primarily funded by membership dues from banks and financial institutions, plus revenue from conferences, training programs, sponsorships, publications and service fees; political contributions and campaign activity are handled separately through the PA Bankers Public Affairs Committee (PaBPAC)
