The Personalized Medicine Coalition is a Washington, D.C.-based coalition that promotes the understanding and adoption of personalized medicine concepts, services, and products to improve patient care and health system value. It brings together innovators, scientists, patients, providers, and payers and works through education, advocacy, and evidence development.
Biomedical research funding, modernized FDA regulation, Medicare and private insurance coverage/reimbursement, patient access to diagnostics and therapies, and policies supporting precision medicine and personalized health care adoption.
Primarily membership dues and sponsorship/support from member institutions and partners; it also seeks supplemental sponsorship funding for specific programs.
Member institutions across the health care ecosystem; leadership includes President & CEO Gina Ross Murdoch and Senior Vice President for Public Policy Cynthia A. Bens.
