Positive Women\u2019s Network-USA is a national, women-led grassroots organization that centers women and gender-diverse people living with HIV. Its mission is to advance health, rights, and justice by building leadership among people with lived experience, conducting advocacy to influence policy, and providing peer support to reduce stigma and improve access to holistic care.
Advocacy for HIV prevention and treatment access, reproductive justice and maternal health for people with HIV, ending HIV criminalization, stigma reduction, racial and gender equity in health care, integrated services (housing, mental health, substance use), and community-led research and leadership development.
Primarily supported by foundation and philanthropic grants, government contracts and grants, individual donations, and fundraising activities.
Works in partnership with regional and local AIDS service organizations, national HIV and reproductive justice advocacy groups, LGBTQ+ organizations, and community leaders who are women and gender-diverse people living with HIV.
