The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) (PC(USA)) is a nationwide mainline Protestant denomination that describes its mission as worshiping God, proclaiming the gospel, and living out Christian commitments through worship, education, mission and social justice. It is governed by representative bodies (sessions, presbyteries, synods and the General Assembly) and operates national agencies that coordinate mission work, advocacy, pastoral support and theological education.
