About the Organization

The Reentry Advocacy Project (RAP) is a Texas-based initiative of the Austin/Travis County Reentry Roundtable that provides support, leadership development, and advocacy opportunities for individuals directly impacted by the criminal justice system. RAP works to promote policies and practices that positively affect justice-involved individuals and their families, while advancing successful reentry and reintegration in Central Texas.

Policy Goals

Criminal justice reform, reentry services, parole and probation policy, workforce reintegration, housing access for formerly incarcerated individuals, and community-based alternatives to incarceration

Funding

Philanthropic grants, local government support, and charitable donations
