Rural County Representatives of California (RCRC) is a nonprofit association representing 40 rural counties across California. Its mission is to advocate on behalf of rural communities and county governments at the state and federal levels, focusing on issues that affect rural economies, public services, land use, and local governance.
RCRC advocates for legislative and regulatory policies related to county governance, land use, natural resource management, wildfire prevention, water policy, transportation funding, housing, public safety, health and human services, and fiscal sustainability for rural counties.
Primarily funded through membership dues from member counties, grants, and program-related revenue.
