The San Luis Valley Local Foods Coalition is a Colorado-based nonprofit organization founded in 2009 and incorporated in 2012 to foster an equitable local food system that restores the health of people, community, economy, and ecosystem in the San Luis Valley. It works to strengthen regional agriculture, expand access to nutritious local food, support small family farms and food businesses, and promote food justice, land stewardship, and community resilience through initiatives such as farmers markets, food hubs, farm-to-school efforts, and community food planning.
