About the Organization

SEIU 775 is a local labor union affiliated with the Service Employees International Union that represents long‑term care, home care, and nursing assistant workers primarily in Washington state. Its mission is to improve wages, benefits, training, workplace safety, and the quality of long‑term care through collective bargaining and public policy advocacy.

Policy Goals

Collective bargaining and labor rights; wage and benefit improvements for caregivers; Medicaid and state funding for home‑ and community‑based services; workforce training and certification; paid leave and workplace health and safety; policies to expand access to quality long‑term care.

Funding

Primarily member dues and internal assessments, supplemented by affiliated political committees, member donations, and program grants.
