SEIU Virginia 512 is the Virginia local of the Service Employees International Union that organizes and represents home care workers and frontline public service employees across the Commonwealth, including chapters in Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William and Richmond. The organization campaigns for higher wages, collective bargaining rights, better working conditions, and strong public services for residents and caregivers.
Collective bargaining rights for public employees, wage increases and benefit improvements, home care worker protections, workplace safety, funding for quality public services, paid leave and healthcare access, and electoral and legislative advocacy for pro-worker policies.
Primarily funded by member dues and internal assessments; political and electoral activity is supported by voluntary member contributions to affiliated political funds and occasional grants or donations.
