The Senate Democratic Caucus is the organized group of Democratic senators in the U.S. Senate. It coordinates caucus messaging, policy priorities, and legislative strategy for Senate Democrats, emphasizing fairness, justice, equality, and policies that support middle-class Americans and those struggling to get there.
Broad Democratic legislative priorities, including workers’ rights, equal pay, environmental protection, voting and democracy issues, consumer and middle-class economic policy, and efforts to oppose special interests and support social and economic equity.
Primarily funded through congressional office budgets and related Senate appropriations, with support from member offices and Senate Democratic leadership resources.
