The Sierra Club Utah Chapter is the state-level branch of the Sierra Club, an established environmental organization that works to protect Utah’s public lands, air, water and wildlife while advancing clean energy and climate solutions through grassroots organizing, public education, advocacy, and policy campaigns.
Public lands and wilderness protection; conservation and biodiversity; air and water quality standards; opposition to new fossil fuel and coal development in sensitive areas; promotion of renewable energy, energy efficiency, and climate mitigation; sustainable transportation and land-use policies.
Membership dues, individual donations and small-dollar contributions, foundation grants and philanthropic support, fundraising events, and financial support coordinated with the national Sierra Club organization.
