Silver State Equality is Nevada’s statewide LGBTQ+ civil rights organization that brings the voices of LGBTQ+ people and allies to institutions of power in Nevada and nationally, working to advance legal protections, health equity, inclusive education, and political representation for LGBTQ+ communities.
Advocates for LGBTQ+ civil rights and non-discrimination laws, protections for transgender and gender‑affirming care, HIV policy reform and health equity, LGBTQ+ inclusive education, anti-bullying and youth protections, voting and candidate endorsement to elect pro‑equality officials, and litigation/advocacy on civil rights issues.
Primarily funded by charitable donations and membership contributions, foundation grants, event revenue, and financial and programmatic support from Equality California and affiliated philanthropic partners.
