Small Business Majority is a national nonprofit that represents and educates small business owners and entrepreneurs. Founded in 2005, the organization conducts polling and research, provides bilingual resources and technical assistance, and advocates for public policy solutions intended to help diverse, often under-resourced, small businesses start, grow and compete.
Advocacy and education on small-business related policy including access to capital and responsible lending, health care and employer benefits, taxes, clean energy and climate resilience, workforce development and retirement, fair competition and antitrust issues, childcare and family benefits, and state and federal regulatory and economic policy that affects Main Street entrepreneurs.
Mix of foundation and philanthropic grants, tax-deductible donations from individuals and organizations, program grants and partnerships with public and private sector funders.
