About the Organization

The South Carolina Corn and Soybean Association (SCCSA) is a grassroots membership organization representing corn and soybean growers across South Carolina. Founded in 1966 as the South Carolina Soybean Association, it serves as the collective voice of producers on state and federal policy issues and works to promote effective legislation that ensures a growing and profitable corn and soybean industry.

Policy Goals

Agricultural and farm policy including commodity programs, crop insurance, conservation, trade, biofuels, research funding, and state and federal legislation affecting corn and soybean production and farm profitability

Funding

Membership dues from corn and soybean producers and related agricultural stakeholders, with affiliated support through commodity checkoff programs
