The Southern Coalition for Social Justice (SCSJ) is a nonprofit civil rights organization dedicated to advancing and defending the political, social, and economic rights of communities of color and economically disadvantaged communities in the Southern United States. The organization works through legal advocacy, policy reform, research, and community education to promote voting rights, criminal justice reform, and environmental justice.
