The Southern Shrimp Alliance is a trade association representing shrimp fishermen, shrimp processors, and related businesses in the eight warmwater shrimp-producing states. It advocates for the long-term viability of the U.S. shrimp industry and domestic wild-caught shrimp producers.
Trade enforcement, import dumping and anti-dumping duties, seafood labeling and traceability, fisheries management, fraud enforcement, industry enhancement, and market development for U.S. wild-caught shrimp.
Membership dues and other contributions from member businesses and supporters.
Board members and member representatives from shrimp-producing states; staff leadership includes Executive Director Blake Price.
