About the Organization

The Strong Economy for All Coalition is a New York–based labor and community coalition formed in 2011 to advocate for economic fairness and broad-based prosperity. It works to advance policies that support working- and middle-class New Yorkers, including fair tax systems, strong public services, and accountable government.

Policy Goals

Progressive state fiscal and economic policies including fair and progressive taxation, budget equity, job creation, higher wages, public education funding, a strong social safety net, public campaign financing, corporate subsidy reform, and measures to address income inequality

Funding

Primarily funded through contributions and grants from allied labor unions, foundations, and advocacy organizations
