Teaneck Creek Conservancy is a member-supported nonprofit that stewards Teaneck Creek Park in New Jersey, focusing on environmental restoration, community education, cultural programming, and preservation of the watershed’s natural and historical legacy.
Environmental conservation, land stewardship, habitat restoration, watershed protection, public education, community arts and culture, and park access/recreation.
Primarily member support, donations, sponsorships, and volunteer-backed fundraising; it also works with grants and partner support for programs and restoration efforts.
Founded with support from Perry Rosenstein and Gladys Miller-Rosenstein of the Puffin Foundation; works with Bergen County Parks Department, Teaneck Public Library, Teaneck Public Schools, Holy Name Hospital, Bergen County Audubon Society, and the Puffin Cultural Forum.
