The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) is a U.S.-based trade association representing manufacturers, vendors and suppliers across the information and communications technology sector. TIA develops and publishes technical standards, provides industry research and forums, and advocates for policies intended to accelerate deployment and interoperability of broadband, wired and wireless communications infrastructure.

Primarily funded by member company dues, fees from standards and publications, revenue from conferences and training, and corporate sponsorships.
Prominent member companies and partners include major network operators and equipment vendors such as AT&T, Verizon, Cisco, Nokia, Ericsson, Corning and CommScope, and collaborative relationships with standards bodies and international organizations such as ANSI and the ITU.
