About the Organization

Thai Community Development Center (Thai CDC) is a Los Angeles–based nonprofit that advances the social and economic well‑being of low- and moderate-income Thai and other ethnic immigrant communities through community economic development, human rights advocacy, affordable housing, access to healthcare, small business promotion, neighborhood revitalization and culturally competent social services.

Policy Goals

Advocates for affordable housing and equitable development, immigrant and workers' rights, anti‑trafficking services and survivor support, access to healthcare and food security, small business and entrepreneurship supports, transit‑oriented development policies and neighborhood preservation to prevent displacement.

Funding

Primarily funded by foundation grants and philanthropic donations, government contracts and public funding, program fees and earned revenue from social enterprises, and community fundraising.
