The Fenway Institute is the research, education, and policy arm of Fenway Health that produces applied research, training, and policy analysis to advance health equity for LGBTQ+ people and communities affected by HIV, sexual health, and related conditions.
LGBTQ+ health equity, HIV prevention and care, sexual and reproductive health, transgender and gender-affirming care access, public health funding and surveillance, harm reduction and substance-use policy, anti-discrimination and health access protections, and culturally competent clinical guidelines and data inclusion.
Primarily supported by competitive research grants (federal agencies such as NIH and CDC), foundation and philanthropic support, training/contracts, and Fenway Health operating revenue.
