The White House, formally known as the Executive Office of the President (EOP), is the executive branch entity that supports the President of the United States in implementing federal law and administering the operations of the federal government. It includes senior advisors, policy councils, and administrative offices that assist the President in developing and advancing policy priorities.
Develops and advances the President’s legislative agenda across all areas of federal policy, including budget and appropriations, national security and foreign policy, economic policy, healthcare, immigration, energy and environment, civil rights, and regulatory affairs.
Funded through federal appropriations authorized by Congress in the annual federal budget.
