Third Act Lawyers is a volunteer working group within Third Act that connects lawyers, informs members about legal efforts to protect climate and democracy, and encourages support for those efforts. It is part of an elder-led movement focused on civic engagement and public advocacy.
Climate action, democracy protection, voting rights, public education, legislative advocacy, and limited electoral activity related to progressive environmental and democratic reforms.
Primarily supported by gifts from foundations and individual donors, including older activists; Third Act also accepts tax-deductible support through its Education Fund.
