About the Organization

The Transparency Coalition.ai (TCAI) is a U.S.-based organization that researches and advocates for AI transparency and safety, with particular focus on protecting children and consumers from harms of generative AI. TCAI produces educational materials, model bills, policy research, and provides technical expertise and testimony to state lawmakers to advance disclosure and accountability around AI training data and model behavior.

Policy Goals

Training-data transparency and provenance, generative AI safety and governance, protections for minors and consumers, limits on deceptive AI use, copyright and ownership rules for AI outputs, state-level AI legislation and model bills, and enforcement/accountability measures for AI developers
