The Transparency Task Force is a UK-based social enterprise and campaigning community, founded in 2015 to drive greater transparency, accountability and better outcomes across the global financial services sector. It runs conferences and working groups, produces policy submissions and convenes industry, regulator and parliamentary stakeholders to promote reforms that protect consumers and rebuild trust in financial services.
Advocates for financial‑services transparency, stronger consumer protection, pension and investment sector reform, improved governance and conduct, open finance and fintech interoperability, regulatory accountability, and anti‑malpractice measures.
Operates as a not‑for‑profit social enterprise funded primarily by event and symposium sponsorships, membership and donor support, grants and voluntary pro bono contributions, with core leadership provided by its founder.
Founder and Chair Andy Agathangelou; associated campaigners and advisers such as Dr Chris Sier and Con Keating; serves as secretariat to related parliamentary groups and works with industry bodies, regulators and academic contributors.
