The Transportation Trades Department, AFL-CIO (TTD) is a national labor federation representing transportation workers across rail, transit, aviation, maritime, trucking, and related sectors. It advocates for safe, reliable, well-funded transportation systems and for policies that protect workers’ rights, jobs, and collective bargaining.
Transportation infrastructure funding, transit and rail investment, aviation and maritime policy, rail safety, labor standards, collective bargaining rights, workplace safety, Buy America provisions, and federal appropriations affecting transportation agencies and workers.
Primarily funded by dues from its affiliated labor unions and support from the AFL-CIO structure.
