About the Organization

Treatment Action Group (TAG) is a New York–based non-profit research and policy advocacy organization dedicated to ending the HIV, tuberculosis, and hepatitis C epidemics. TAG works to ensure that research advances are translated into effective treatments and that affected communities have access to life-saving care, with a focus on health equity and community engagement.

Policy Goals

TAG typically pursues policies that increase federal funding for biomedical research, expand access to HIV, TB, and hepatitis C prevention and treatment services, promote global health equity, strengthen public health infrastructure, and support evidence-based drug development and regulatory reforms.
