About the Organization

The United States Conference of Mayors is a nonpartisan, membership organization of U.S. city mayors that develops policy positions, advocates federal policies on behalf of cities, and convenes municipal leaders to share best practices and coordinate action on urban challenges such as infrastructure, housing, public safety, economic development, public health, and climate resilience.

Policy Goals

Advocacy for federal funding and regulatory policies affecting cities, including infrastructure and transportation investment, affordable housing and homelessness, public safety and criminal justice issues, economic and workforce development, public health and emergency response, climate adaptation and sustainability, and federal grant programs for municipalities.

Funding

Primarily membership dues, conference and event fees, corporate sponsorships, and program grants

National League of Cities, International City/County Management Association (ICMA), state municipal leagues, and city mayors and administrations from major U.S. cities
