The U.S. House Committee on Homeland Security is a standing committee of the United States House of Representatives responsible for overseeing the Department of Homeland Security and developing legislation to protect the United States from terrorism and other threats. The committee addresses issues related to border security, cybersecurity, transportation security, emergency preparedness, counterterrorism, and infrastructure protection.
