The U.S. House Democratic Caucus is the organization of Democratic members of the United States House of Representatives. It works to advance the legislative agenda of the Democratic Party in the House, coordinate policy positions among its members, and support the election of Democrats to the House.
The caucus typically pursues legislation aligned with Democratic Party priorities, including expanding access to healthcare, protecting voting rights, addressing climate change, supporting organized labor, advancing civil rights, promoting economic equity, investing in education and infrastructure, and strengthening social safety net programs.
Funded through official congressional resources allocated to House party caucuses and member support, as well as political support from Democratic members and affiliated political committees.
