About the Organization

The U.S. Senate Committee on Finance is a standing committee of the United States Senate with jurisdiction over taxation, revenue measures, trade agreements, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and other programs under the Social Security Act. Communications from the Ranking Member reflect the priorities and oversight activities of the senior minority party member on the committee.
