About the Organization

The United Food and Commercial Workers International Union (UFCW) is a labor union representing about 1.2 million workers in the United States and Canada, especially in grocery, retail, food processing, meatpacking, pharmacies, healthcare, manufacturing, and related industries. Its mission is to improve wages, benefits, working conditions, workplace safety, and worker power through organizing, collective bargaining, and advocacy.
