Description: United We Dream is a national, immigrant youth–led advocacy network that organizes undocumented young people and immigrant communities to defend and expand rights and protections, increase civic participation, develop leaders, and push for humane immigration and social-justice policy in the United States. Type: Non-profit organization (immigrant youth-led advocacy network with affiliated advocacy arms) Policies: Immigration reform and pathways to regularization (including DACA and deferred action protections), stopping deportations and detention, access to education and health services for immigrant communities, drivers' licenses and state-level integration policies, labor rights for immigrants, and broader racial and social justice/civic engagement initiatives. Funding: Primarily philanthropy and foundation grants, supplemented by individual and grassroots donations and campaign-specific fundraising; may also receive support from allied progressive organizations.
