The Utah Broadcasters Association is a state trade association representing Utah’s radio and television broadcasters. It works to protect and promote free over-the-air broadcasting, support local stations, and advance the role of broadcasters in news, emergency alerts, and community service.
Broadcast industry policy, including FCC and communications regulation, copyright and music licensing, advertising rules, emergency alerting, public safety communications, and state/federal legislation affecting radio and television broadcasters.
Primarily funded by membership dues from radio and television stations and related industry members, along with event sponsorships and association activities.
Affiliated with Utah radio and television stations, the National Association of Broadcasters, and state/local broadcaster industry partners; prominent leaders include association executives such as Dale Zabriskie.
