The Utah Republican Party is the state affiliate of the national Republican Party. It organizes and supports Republican candidates and officeholders in Utah, runs party conventions and delegate processes, coordinates grassroots outreach and voter mobilization, and advocates for conservative policy priorities such as limited government, free enterprise, and traditional family and community values.
Typically pursues conservative legislative priorities including lower taxes and limited regulation, pro-business and economic development measures, public safety and law-and-order policies, local control of education and school choice, protections for religious liberty, restrictions on abortion, election integrity reforms, and conservative judicial appointments.
Primarily funded through individual contributions and small-dollar donors, state-party fundraising events and donations, membership dues and merchandise, and financial support from affiliated political action committees and interest-group donors.
Republican National Committee, Utah county Republican committees, Utah Federation of College Republicans, Utah Elephant Club, Utah Young Republicans, Utah Federation of Republican Women, Utah Republican Veterans' Caucus; commonly aligned with Utah Republican elected officials at the state and federal level.
