Vigilante Electric Cooperative is a member-owned rural electric distribution cooperative that provides electric power and related services to residential, agricultural, and commercial members in southwestern Montana. Its mission is to deliver reliable, affordable electricity while supporting the communities it serves.
Rural energy infrastructure development, electric grid reliability, renewable and traditional energy generation, utility regulation, broadband expansion in rural areas, and policies affecting electric cooperatives and their members.
Member-owned cooperative funded primarily through member electricity payments, service fees, and financing through cooperative lending institutions.
