Virginia NOW is the Virginia state chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW). It is a grassroots feminist advocacy group that advances gender equality and women's rights in Virginia through public education, lobbying, grassroots organizing, legal advocacy, and coalition-building.
Reproductive rights and access to abortion, gender pay equity and economic justice, ending gender-based and domestic violence, LGBTQ+ equality and anti-discrimination, expanding healthcare and childcare access, increasing political representation and voter protections
Primarily supported by membership dues and individual donations, supplemented by fundraising events, small grants, and assistance from the national NOW network
