Virginia Organizing is a statewide grassroots non-profit that builds multiracial community power across Virginia to advance social, racial, economic, and environmental justice through local organizing, leadership development, and community-led public policy campaigns.
Voting rights and civic engagement; criminal justice reform and police accountability; healthcare access and Medicaid expansion; economic justice and living-wage policies; immigrant and refugee rights; racial equity and anti-discrimination; environmental and climate justice; education equity.
Primarily funded by individual donations and grassroots membership contributions, supplemented by foundation and philanthropic grants.
