Washington CAN (Washington Community Action Network) is a statewide grassroots advocacy organization that mobilizes members to advance racial, social, gender, and economic justice in Washington state and nationally.
Economic justice, health care, housing, tax fairness, criminal justice/prison reform, labor and workers’ rights, racial justice, gender justice, and civic engagement/voter mobilization.
Primarily member donations, grassroots fundraising, and grants/support from affiliated nonprofit entities and allied foundations.
Washington Community Action Network Education and Research Fund; Washington Community Action Partnership; member-led leadership council and coalition partners in labor, faith, senior, and community organizations.
