About the Organization

Washington Litigation Group is a Washington, D.C.-based coalition of senior litigators and former federal prosecutors that provides high‑stakes appellate and trial representation to defend the rule of law, protect civil rights and federal employees, and challenge alleged governmental overreach; the group pursues both paid and selected pro bono matters and has taken cases to federal trial and appellate courts.

Policy Goals

Pursues litigation and legal strategies in constitutional and administrative law, civil rights, federal employee and whistleblower protections, separation of powers and checks on executive authority, FOIA and government transparency, qualified immunity and police‑misconduct matters, and white‑collar defense related to government investigations.

Funding

Primarily financed through client legal fees and private contributions; the group also handles selected matters on a pro bono basis supported by participating attorneys and outside donors.
