About the Organization

The Washington State Office of the Secretary of State is the state executive agency responsible for administering elections and voter registration, preserving and providing access to public records and state archives, registering businesses and charities, overseeing campaign finance and lobbying disclosures, and regulating notaries and corporate filings to promote transparency and public trust.
