The Washington Office on Latin America (WOLA) is a nonprofit research and advocacy organization focused on promoting human rights, democracy, and social justice in Latin America and the Caribbean. Founded in 1974, WOLA conducts policy research and engages with U.S. and regional policymakers to advance human rights protections, accountable governance, and equitable development.
