About the Organization

The Washington State LGBTQ Commission is a state government commission established to improve the lives of LGBTQ individuals in Washington by advising the Governor, Legislature, and state agencies on issues impacting the LGBTQ community, promoting equity in state policies and services, and serving as a liaison between the LGBTQ community and state government.

Civil rights protections, anti-discrimination laws, healthcare access, housing equity, youth services, public safety, and policies affecting LGBTQ individuals and families
