The Wholesale & Specialty Insurance Association (WSIA) is a nonprofit trade association representing the wholesale, specialty, and surplus lines insurance industry. It serves insurance professionals and specialty market leaders through networking, education, talent development, and regulatory and legislative advocacy.
Insurance regulation, surplus lines and wholesale market rules, licensing and compliance, legislative and regulatory advocacy affecting the specialty insurance market, and workforce/talent development for the insurance industry.
Primarily funded by membership dues, event and education program revenue, and related association activities; it also has a PAC supported by contributions from employees of member firms.
Founded through the merger of AAMGA and NAPSLO; affiliated programs and entities include the WSIA PAC, the WSIA Education Foundation, the WSIA Diversity Foundation, and WSIA U40.
