About the Organization

Wildlife Mississippi is a statewide conservation organization founded in 1998 that works to conserve Mississippi’s lands, waters, and natural heritage in order to sustain a clean environment and a healthy economy. The organization focuses on protecting, restoring, and enhancing wildlife habitat, improving streams, supporting outdoor recreation, and advancing conservation education.

Habitat conservation, federal and state conservation policy, Farm Bill conservation provisions, forest management on public lands, wildlife refuge expansion, Gulf Coast habitat restoration, and conservation incentives for private landowners
