About the Organization

The Wyoming Bankers Association is a member-driven trade organization that represents commercial, community, and savings banks operating in Wyoming. It advances the interests of Wyoming banks through advocacy, education, regulatory guidance, and member services intended to promote a safe, sound, and competitive banking sector that supports local economic development.

Policy Goals

State and federal banking regulation and oversight, community and small-business lending policy, regulatory relief and compliance standards, payment systems and fintech policy, cybersecurity and data privacy measures affecting financial institutions, taxation and economic development issues relevant to banks, workforce development and financial education initiatives.

Funding

Primarily funded by member dues and fees for services, sponsorships, and revenue from educational programs and events.

Affiliates

American Bankers Association, regional/state banking associations, community banks and credit union partners, and industry service providers; often works with state chambers of commerce and local economic development organizations.
